Spartanburg, S.C. - Lander picked up their third win of the season Friday night, defeating #14 Converse 259.290-255.745.

The Bearcats started the night with a 35.70 in the Compulsory Event, narrowly trailing the Valkyries, who scored 35.75. The highest score in that event came during the pyramid heat, with Lander scoring 9.35. Next up, Lander scored 27.85 in the Acro Event. 

During the Pyramid Event, the Bearcats came away with a 29.05 to go into the half, leading 92.60-88.15. 

When Lander returned from halftime, they outscored Converse 27.85-26.40 in the Toss event. The Valkyries then won the tumbling event 51.825-48.500 to cut their deficit to 168.95-166.375.

The Bearcats would take the Team Event 90.34-89.37 to clinch the win.
