Florence, S.C. - #13 Lander held on to defeat Mount Olive 4-3 in a neutral site match Friday afternoon.
In doubles play, Nick Beamish and Markus Sorensen won their match 6-4, and Ambroise Marchand and Emilien Baradel won 6-4 to give Lander the doubles point.
In singles action, the Trojans picked up wins at numbers two, four, and five. Naoui Mouad and Hugo Regner won their matches in straight sets, setting up a winner-take-all at number three. After dropping the first set, Beamish answered to win the second set 7-5 and the third set 7-6 to clinch the win for the Bearcats.
