Gaffney, S.C. - Lander opened up the 2024 season, falling to #7 Limestone 262.680-257.005.  

The Bearcats started the night with a 35.55 in the Compulsory Event. The highest score in that event came during the pyramid heat, with Lander scoring 9.65 out of 10. Next up, Lander scored 27.80 in the Acro Event, beating Limestone, who scored 27.45. 

During the Pyramid Event, the Bearcats came away with a 28.45. Lander went into the half trailing Limestone 93.50-91.80. 

When Lander returned from halftime, they opened with a 9.20 in the first heat. During Tumbling, the Bearcats earned a 49.725, with the highest score of 8.800 on the 6-element pass. 

The Saints edged the Bearcats 90.18-89.73 during the Team Event to secure the win.
