GREENWOOD - Lander narrowly fell to Coker Wednesday night in Acrobatics and Tumbling, with Coker winning 265.710-261.550.

The Bearcats started the night with a 37.95 in the Compulsory Event. The highest score in that event came during the pyramid heat, with Lander scoring 9.80 out of 10. Next up, Lander scored 27.90 in the Acro Event, beating Coker, who scored 26.30. 

During the Pyramid Event, the Bearcats came away with a 29.30. Lander went into the half trailing Limestone 95.15-93.55. 

When Lander returned from halftime, they tied Coker in the Toss event with a score of 27.90. The Bearcats then dominated the tumbling event. Lander scored a 9.00 in the Duo Pass, while the Cobras finished with a 6.35 and outscored Coker 54.40 to 50.00 to take the lead.

The Cobras won the team event 92.66-85.70 to take the victory.
