Gaffney, S.C. - In a top-20 men's lacrosse matchup, #3 Limestone defeated #19 Lander 21-5 Wednesday night.
The Saints scored two goals in the game's first three minutes to take the early lead. A goal at 11:42 by Krew Conroy cut the deficit to one. A minute and a half later, Zane Dalpe scored an assist from Nolan Oakey to tie the score at two. Limestone scored nine unanswered goals in the quarter to take an 11-2 lead.
Dalph added two more goals in the second half, while Carter Wilcox had a goal and an assist, and Kyle DeCrispino had two assists for the Bearcats.
