Franklin Springs, Ga. - Lander picked up their first two wins of the season, beating Emmanuel and King in a tri-meet Saturday. The Bearcats beat King 255.935-162.625 and Emmanuel 255.935-244.005.

In the compulsory event, the Bearcats finished with a score of 35.950 with a high score of 9.750 in the Pyramid event. Lander also took the highest score in the Acro event, with a score of 63.800 and 9.750 in Heat 3. 

In the Pyramid event, Lander scored 92.450, beating King with an 89.550 and Emannuel with 87.450. The Bearcats finished with a score of 118.950 in the toss event and 170.225 in the tumbling event to complete the clean sweep.  

Lander finished the meet with four scores of 9.700 or better.
