Both Lander and Georgia Southwestern would trade blows in the second half.

The Bearcats would take the lead in the 68th minute of play after Charlie Bushby scored on a penalty kick.

The Hurricanes would strike back in the 73rd minute as they found an open man in the box to score the tying goal.
