Men's soccer draws 0-0 at North Georgia

DAHLONEGA, Ga. - The Lander men's soccer team battled to a 0-0 tie on the road at North Georgia Wednesday evening.

Lander moves to 4-4-3 overall and 3-1-1 in the PBC while North Georgia moves to 4-5-2 overall and 1-2-2 in the PBC.

How It Happened

Lander and North Georgia would go into the half scoreless while each team put at least one shot on goal. Both Lander and North Georgia recorded a save to keep the scoreboard empty.

Neither side would be able to score in the second half as well.

Lander put three more shots on goal in the second half while Juan Rodriguez made a crucial save late in the half to keep the game even.

  • This is the second shutout of the season for Rodriguez.
  • Christian Hatley put two of Lander's four shots on goal.
