Hartsville, S.C. - Acrobatics & tumbling were defeated at Coker in their regular season finale on Wednesday evening 257.200-265.075.
The Bearcats started the night trailing by 1.75 after the Compulsory event. Lander earned two scores of 9.60, for a final total through four heats of 36.35. The Blue & Gold outscored the Cobras in the Acro event, scoring 28.40 to Coker's 28.30. Before the half, the Bearcats scored a 29.25 in the Pyramid event totaling 94.00. Coker had a two point lead.
Lander's Toss event totaled 26.25, with their hight score coming in the Open heat with an 8.95. The Bearcats rolled into the Tumbling event, dominating the Aerial Pass with a score of 9.625. The running total heading into the the Team event was 169.55. The acrobats ended the night with an 87.65 in the Team event, giving Lander a 257.200 for the meet.
With the conclusion of this meet, the Bearcats have wrapped up their regular season. Finis Horne Arena will be the host site for the Conference Carolinas 2023 Acrobatics & Tumbling Championships. The semifinals take place next Saturday, April 15th, followed by the event finals and championship on April 16th.
