MARTINEZ, Ga. - For the second time this spring, Emily Allen has been named Peach Belt Freshman of the Week for her performance against Flagler this past weekend. 

Emily had an outstanding week for Lander, helping the Bearcats take two out of three games from Flagler over the weekend. In game one, she went 3-4 with a double and three RBIs in an 11-5 win. In game two, Allen was 3-4 again with three RBIs and a triple. Her triple came in the top of the seventh, drove in two runs, and gave Lander their first lead of the game. The Bearcats went on to win 7-5. For the week, Allen hit .583 (7-12) with a double, triple, four runs scored, and six RBS, with a 1.416 OPS.
