Florence, S.C. - The Bearcats take care of business on the first day of the City of Florence College Tennis Invitational on Friday, winning 4-0 over Coker.
The doubles duos of Markus Sorensen and Nick Beamish as well as Ambroise Marchand and Ludvig Danielsson earned the Doubles point for Lander. Sorensen and Beamish were victorious in a 6-1 match, while Marchand and Danielsson came out on top 6-3.
Hugo Regner went 6-1 in two straight sets during singles. Matthew De Groot finished his match 6-1 and 6-2 to secure the singles point, and Alexandre Crepy completed the win with 6-3 and 6-1 sets.
#13 Lander continues competition on Saturday at the City of Florence College Tennis Invitational at 9:00 am against the winner of the Francis Marion/Newberry match.
