MARTINEZ, Ga. - Lander sophomore Abbie Behe was named the Peach Belt Conference Softball Player of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday. 

The reigning PBC Freshman of the Year had an outstanding weekend, helping Lander to a 3-0 record in the Brianna Surrento Kickoff Classic. She hit .556 (5-9) with three runs scored, five RBIs, a double, triple, home run, and a 1.858 OPS. Abbie had an extra base hit in each of the three games as well. She currently leads the team with a .375 batting average to go with two doubles, a triple, home run, six RBI's and 16 total bases.
