GREENWOOD - Following their runner-up finish at the ITA Southeast Regional Championship last month, the Lander men's tennis doubles team of Matthew De Groot and Hugo Regner have been selected as the fourth-seed in the ITA Cup to be held in Rome, Ga. October 12-16. The ITA Cup is the only singles and doubles national championship event for the Division II and NAIA levels. 

De Groot and Regner rolled into the Southeast Regional Doubles Championship finals before narrowly losing to Justin Welz and Camilo Cano of Columbus State. Last season, the duo finished the year 11-5 and helped the Bearcats make their 17th-straight NCAA appearance.
