GREENWOOD - Lander wraps up the regular season this weekend as they travel to South Georgia to take on Georiga Southwestern. The series will start tomorrow with a doubleheader beginning at 1:00 PM.

- The Bearcats are currently tied with Columbus State for second place in the Peach Belt standings heading into the final week. Lander is looking to finish second to earn the #2 seed in next week's Peach Belt Conference Championship tournament that Lander is hosting.
- Lander held their position at #8 in the second NCAA Southeast Regional poll released this week.
- Last weekend, the Bearcats won their sixth PBC series, defeating Young Harris two games to one.
- Abbie Behe and Barbara Cook led Lander at the plate. Behe was 6-1 with two doubles and three RBIs, while Cook was 7-12 with four RBIs.
- Liz Golin and Rebecca Boesen picked up wins in the circle for Lander, while Cook recorded a save. Golin allowed one run on seven hits and struck out six, and Boesen allowed four earned runs and struck out four.
- The Bearcats lead the PBC and are 11th in the country in double plays (21), first in the conference, and third in total sacrifice bunts (55). Lander also leads the conference in double plays per game (0.47) and is second in batting average (.317) and stolen bases (84). As a pitching staff, Lander leads the conference in ERA (2.31) and WHIP (1.10).
- Bridgett Tierney leads the PBC and is third in the country in sacrifice bunts per game (0.32).
- Behe is second in the conference in batting average (.452), Shannon Antonini is third (.401), and Naya Jones is fourth (.398).
- Reagan More leads the PBC in ERA (1.40) and is second in hits allowed per seven innings (4.80).
- Sage Jones is fifth in the conference in stolen bases (20), Antonini and Naya Jones are tied for seventh (18).
- Last weekend Georgia Southwestern defeated Augusta two games to one to win their series.
