GREENWOOD - For the first time in the program's short history, the Lander women's lacrosse team will play in the postseason. The Bearcats will take on top-seed the University of Alabama at Huntsville tomorrow at 7:00 PM.

- The Bearcats fell to the Chargers 19-12 on April 2.
- Last time out, Lander blew by Southern Wesleyan 21-4 in non-conference action.
- Melissa Clapsaddle led Lander with three goals. Lauren Fallow, Emmy Peterson, Emma Arifin, and Mickey Burnett scored two goals, and Lanie Graves scored once.
- Alyssa Suchan led the team with six assists, while Graves and Burnett had one assist.
- Lander led the conference in scoring defense (11.47), goals scored (243), scoring margin (2.82), points per game (20.59), draw controls (270), and wins (10). The Bearcats were second in scoring offense (14.29), caused turnovers per game (7.94), clear percentage (85.1%), and shooting percentage (49.8).
- Suchan leads the conference in assists per game (2.50) and assists with 40. She is also second in points with 70.
- Clapsaddle is second in the GSC in draw controls (117) and draw controls per game (7.20).
- Emmy Peterson finished first in points (72), and Brenah Sarell led in goals-against average (12.18).
- The winner will take on the winner of the Lee vs. Flagler match on Sunday.
