GREENWOOD - Lander celebrated Senior Day by winning both games of their Peach Belt doubleheader over Young Harris to win the series. The Bearcats won game one 6-5 and game two 7-1.

Trailing 1-0, Naya Jones singled up the middle to lead off the inning, and Sage Jones followed with a bunt single. The base runners then pulled off a double steal. After Shannon Antonini drew a one-out walk to load the bases, Barbara Cook singled to left to score Naya Jones and tie the game at one. Abbie Behe then gave the Bearcats the lead with an infield single that scored Antonini and gave Lander the lead. |

Antonini and Cook each singled with one out. Antonini then scored on a single by Behe to make it a 3-1 game. Eliza Gonzalez followed with a triple down the right-field line to score two runs and give Lander a four-run lead. |

With two outs and no one on base, Bridgett Tierney and Antonini each reached on infield singles. Cook then stepped to the plate and singled up the middle to score Tierney and give the Bearcats the lead again. |

Young Harris would put runners at second and third with one out. Cook would come into the game in relief of Rebecca Boesen. She got a fly out and ground out to pick up her first save and give Lander the win. |

Sage Jones led off with a single to right and advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt by Bridget Tierney. Shannon Antonini then reached on a bunt single and stole second. Barbara Cook followed with a single to right center to drive in two. A single by Eliza Gonzalez scored Cook to make it 3-0. |

Lauren Collie and Naya Jones both singled with one out and then scored when Sage Jones reached on an error to make it a 5-0 game. |

Cook and Abbie Behe both led off the inning with singles and a sacrifice bunt by Gonzalez moved them into scoring position. Cook then scored when Haven Pesce reached on a fielder's choice and Behe scored on a bunt single by Collie to make it 7-1. |
