Two walk-offs doom Lander in losses to King

BRISTOL, Tenn. - King University used two walk-offs to sweep a non conference doubleheader from Lander Friday afternoon.             
 
SUMMARY
GAME 1 FINAL Lander 2, King 4

GAME 2 FINAL Lander 2, King 3 (8 Innings)

KEY INNINGS (GAME 1)
TOP 2 After a lead off single by Barbara Cook, Abbir Behe laid down a sacrifice bunt to move cook to second.  Later in the inning, Lauren Collie singled to left field to score Cook and give Lander the 1-0 lead.       
TOP 4 With one out in the inning, Behe singled to right field for Lander.  She then scored on a double to right center by Haven Pesce to increase the Bearcat lead to two runs.   
BOT 5 The Tornado scored two runs on a two out double to tie the game up 2-2.       
BOT 7 King picked up the win on a two run home run to end the game.  
KEY INNINGS (GAME 2)
BOT 1 An RBI single by King gave them the early 1-0 lead.          
TOP 4 Back to back single by Abbie Behe and Gracie Derrick put runners at first and second to lead off the inning.  A single by Haven Pesce scored Behe and tied the game at one.  Reagan Sienkiewicz reached on a fielder's choice later in the inning, allowing Derrick to score and give Lander the lead.    
BOT 6 The Tornado took advantage of a Lander error to score a run and tie the game at two.   
BOT 8 King again took advantage of a Lander error to score the winning run in extra innings.
