GREENWOOD - 16th-ranked Lander opens up Gulf South Conference play tomorrow as they host Montevallo at 2:00 PM.   

• The Bearcats have not played since February 23, when they upset then #10 Limestone 16-15 for the program's first win over a ranked opponent.  
• Mickey Burnett led the Bearcats with seven goals, while Emmy Peterson added four goals and three assists. Emma Arifin scored two goals and had an assist. Lauren Fallow scored the game-winning goal and had three assists.    
• Lander currently leads the Gulf South in scoring defense (9.67), draw controls per game (16.33), saves percentage (0.473), scoring margin (5.67), and shots on goal per game (23.17). The Bearcats are second in the conference in assists per game (6.00), points per game (21.33), scoring offense (15.33), and shot percentage (0.511).
• Alyssa Suchan leads the conference in assists per game (1.8).
• Emmy Peterson is second in the GSC and third in the country in points (29). She leads the conference and points per game (4.83).
• Melissa Clapsaddle is also second in the conference in draw controls per game (7.50).  
• Brenah Sarell leads the GSC in goals-against average (10.67) and save percentage (0.467). She is also second in the conference in total saves (42).  
• Last time out, lost to Newberry 14-11 on February 27.
