YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. - The 13th ranked Lander Bearcats picked up their first conference win of the season, defeating Young Harris 6-1 Sunday afternoon.
Matthew De Groot and Markus Sorensen won their number one double's match 6-4, but the Mountain Lions took the doubles point.
Thomas De Negri won in three sets 6-0, 4-6, 6-4 at number one singles. Mouad Naoui won at number five in three sets 1-6, 6-3, 6-1, and Emilien Baradel won in three sets 3-6, 7-6, 7-6 at number six. De Groot, Hugo Regner, and Alexandre Crepy won their singles matches in straight sets to seal the victory for the Bearcats.
