CENTRAL, S.C. - The 10th-ranked Lander men's tennis team took down Southern Wesleyan 6-1 Wednesday to extend their spring winning streak to nine.
Matthew De Groot and Markus Sorensen won their number one match 6-3, and Nick Beamish and Bailey Horne won their number two match 6-3. Ludvig Danielsson and Jack Coleman also picked up a 6-3 win in their number three doubles as the Bearcats took the doubles point.
In singles play, The Warriors picked up their only point when Bailey Horne had to retire from his number one match. Emilien Baradel, Mouad Naoui, Beamish, Sorensen, and Danielsson each won their matches in straight sets to seal the win for the Bearcats.
