Bearcats Travel to North Georgia on Saturday To Begin PBC Play

Greenwood, S.C. - Women's tennis heads to Dahlonega, Ga. to battle the UNG Nighthawks on Saturday at 11 a.m. This will be the first PBC match for the Bearcats this season. 

STORYLINES 

  • The last time the Bearcats took the court, they beat the University of Illinois Springfield 4-3 at home on Thursday. 

  • Women's tennis won every Doubles match against UIS, and Maranda Adiar, Hannah Panchal, and Mille Elsborg took care of business in Singles. 

  • Lander holds a 9-7 record over the years against UNG. 

  • The last meeting between the two ended in a 6-1 loss for the Bearcats in 2021. 

  • North Georgia is currently 7-2 on the season, and this will be their third Peach Belt match this season.
