Melissa Clapsaddle gave the Bearcats the lead less than a minute into the game on an assist by Alyssa Suchan. The Panthers responded with two goals in the next seven minutes to take the lead. 35 seconds after Florida Tech took the lead, Emmy Peterson found Izzy Olson for her first goal of the game to tie it at two. The Panthers again scored two unanswered goals to take a 4-2 lead. Suchan and Mickey Burnett found the back of the net 28 seconds apart to tie the game up.
