CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Lee outscored Lander 6-5 in the fourth quarter to force overtime and took the win 13-12 Sunday afternoon in Gulf South Conference action.

1st Quarter |
The Flames score two goals in the first five minutes to take the early lead. With seven minutes remaining, Emma Arifin scored to put the Bearcats on the board. Two and a half minutes later Arifin scored again to tie the game at two. The last 2:40 of the quarter saw each team score two goals as the game was tied at four. Emmy Peterson and Lauren Fallow scored the teo goals for Lander. |
2nd Quarter |
Lees got a goal at the 12:23 mark to regain the lead 5-4. Alyssa Suchan answered with a goal three minutes later to tie the game up again. With just over five minutes remaining in the half, Suchan found Mickey Burnett for her first goal of the game, giving the Bearcats their first lead of the game that they would hold going into the half. |
3rd Quarter |
After Lee tied the game up early in the period, Burnett again score to give Lander the 7-6 lead going into the final 15 minutes. |
4th Quarter |
Fallow scored her second goal of the game less than a minute into the period, giving Lander an 8-6 lead. After the Flames tie the game up with 8:17 remaining, Peterson and Burnett scored less a minute apart to put the Bearcats up 10-8. Lee then scored three-straight goals to retake the lead 11-0. Arifin tied the game up with her third goal of the game, but Lee answered with a goal with 1:30 remaining to lead 12-11. Fallow would tie the game up with 19 seconds remaining to send the game into overtime |
