Bearcats to host Belmont Abbey Wednesday night

GREENWOOD - The Lander women's lacrosse team hosts Belmont Abbey College tomorrow at 7:00 pm at Van Taylor Stadium.

The Bearcats opened up the 2022 season on Saturday with a commanding 20-3 victory over Coker.
Lander had nine different players score at least one goal against the Cobras.
Emmy Peterson led the way with five goals and two assists. Melissa Clapsaddle added three goals, while Alyssa Suchan and Emma Arifin had two goals and three assists. Brenah Sarell made six saves in goal for the Bearcats.
Lander and Belmont Abbey met for the first time last season. The Crusaders won the match up 23-14.
Suchan and Peterson led the Bearcats with five goals each, while Peterson had a team-leading three assists.
