GREENWOOD - The Lander women's lacrosse team continues their road trip as they travel to Gaffney to battle #10 Limestone Wednesday night.    

• After falling behind 5-1 after the first quarter Saturday against UVA Wise, Lander outscored the Cavaliers 8-5, but it wasn't enough as the Bearcats lost 10-9 Saturday afternoon.   
• Emmy Peterson led Lander with four goals and one assist, while Melissa Clapsaddle had three goals and an assist. Mary Claire Robinson and Mickey Burnett both scored one goal.  
• Lander currently leads the Gulf South in scoring defense (8.60) and is second in the conference in assists per game (5.40), caused turnovers per game (8.40), draw controls per game (15.20), points per game (20.60), saves percentage (0.482), scoring margin (6.6), scoring offense (15.2), and shots on goal per game (24.2). 
• Alyssa Suchan leads the conference and Division II in assists (9) and is second in both in points (20), and she is second in the conference in assists per game (1.8).
• Emmy Peterson leads the GSC and the country in points (22), and she is second in the conference and third in Division II in goals (16).
• Melissa Clapsaddle is also second in the conference and third in the country in goals (16) and fourth in the country and conference in points (19). She is also second in the Gulf South in draw controls per game (6.60).  
• Brenah Sarell leads the GSC in goals-against average (9.07) and save percentage (0.493). She is also second in the conference in total saves (33).  
• Last time out, Limestone defeated Young Harris 16-8 on February 16.
