GREENWOOD – Lander ran its winning sttreak to 13 games, winning both their games Sunday. The Bearcats shut out Chowan 8-0 in game one and scored 10 unanswered runs in game two to defeat USC Beaufort 10-4.

Kalei Cline reached on an infirled single and moved to second on a single by Reagan Sienkiewicz. The Bearcats then pinch ran Kyrah Phelix for Cline and shw scored on a single by Sage Jones to make it 1-0. With two outs, Shannon Antonini singled to score two and extend the Lander lead to three. Antonini laater scored on a wild pitch to make it 4-0 Bearcats. |

Gracie Derrick led off the inning with a single to centerfield. She then stole second base and advanced to third on a wild pitch. Sienkiewicz laid down a sacrifice but, scoring Derrick to make it 5-0. |

Derrick led off the inning with a walk and quickly stole second. She then scored when Cline reached on a Chowan error. Jillian Terpenning pinch ran for Cline and stole second base. She moved up to third base on a ground out. Jones drew a walk and stole second base to put two runners in scoring position. Terpenning scored on a ground out by pinch hitter Haley Erwin. A single my Antonini scored Jones to end the game at 8-0. |

Pesce scored on an infield single by Sage Jones to give Lander their first run with one out. Behe then scored when Bridgett Teirney reached on the second Beaufort error of the inning. After an RBI single by Shannon Antonini put runners at first and second with two outs, Olivia Veidt blasted a home run to left-center field to give the Bearcats their first lead of the game 6-4. |

Pesce led off the inning with a solo home run to right field to make it a three-run game. Behe followed with an infield single and later scored on a sacrifice fly by Collie to make it 8-4. |

The Bearcats added two more runs on an RBI groundout by Pesce and an RBI double by Behe. |

Liz Gollin would retire the Sand Sharks in order for her fourth inning of releif without allowing a hit to clinch the win. |
