GREENWOOD - The Lander softball team hosts the Bearcat Round Robin Tournament this weekend. The tournament will feature Chowan, North Georgia, and USC Beaufort.  

• The Bearcats enter the weekend having won nine games in a row after sweeping six games in the Brianna Surrento Kickoff Classic last weekend. 
• Bridgett Tierney hit .571 in those six games with eight hits and five walks and was 5-5 in stolen bases, while Shannon Antonini hit .467 with two doubles, a home run, and 12 RBIs. Sage Jones was 6-6 in stolen bases and scored ten runs for the Bearcats.   
• In the circle, Reagan More and Liz Gollin both went 2-0, and Barbara Cook and Rebeca Boesen recorded a win each. Boesen also recorded two saves while appearing in four of the six games.  
• The Bearcats lead the Peach Belt and the country in total sacrifice bunts (13). Lander also leads the conference in double plays (3), double plays per game (0.3), ERA (2.54), stolen bases per game (2.9), and total stolen bases (29). 
• Boesen currently leads the PBC and is second in Division II in saves (2). She is also third in the conference in appearances (6) and fifth in hits allowed per seven innings (5.82).  
• Tierney leads the Peach Belt and is fourth in the country in sacrifice bunts per game (0.5), and is fourth in the conference in stolen bases (7).  
• Antonini leads the PBC in RBIs (13) and is second in sacrifice flys and third in RBIs per game. 
• Jones is second in the conference in stolen bases (8) and stolen bases per game (0.8).
