GREENWOOD - The eighth-ranked Lander men's tennis team hosts the Converse Valkyries tomorrow afternoon at the Joe Cabri Tennis Complex at 2:30 PM.  

• Last Wednesday, the Bearcats shut out Lees-McRae 7-0 in their home opener to improve to 4-0 in the spring.   
• Lander won five out of six singles matches in straight sets and won all three doubles matches by an average score of 6-3.   
• This is the first year of competition for the Converse team. The Valkyries are currently 0-2 on the spring, having lost to Anderson 7-0 Sunday.
