- The Bearcats are coming off a 79-48 loss to no. 18 Augusta on the road this past Wednesday.
- Nigel Colvin led Lander with 11 points on the night.
- Augusta held Lander to 24 points in both halves while pulling away with a 43-point second half.
- Augusta was led by Tyshaun Crawford's 23 points.
- The Bearcats are looking to stop a five-game losing streak.
- Lander lost a close contest at North Georgia on January 8, as the Bearcats fell 67-59.
- Deandre Robinson led the Bearcats with 17 points off a 6-of-8 day from the field.
- Lander has three players averaging double figures in scoring this season. Colvin leads the team with 11.3 points per game with Robinson and Dominic Stanford second and third with 10.5 and 10.0 points per game.
- Jared Sherfield continues to lead the Bearcats in rebounds and assists per game with 6.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.
- The Nighthawks are coming off an 83-65 victory against Clayton State.
- Kody Shubert led North Georgia with 20 points while Frank Champion had a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Champion also had six assists.
