GREENWOOD – After coming away with two wins at the Coker tri-meet, the Lander wrestling team will host King University on Wednesday as it continues conference action.

STORYLINES
- The Bearcats traveled to Hartsville, S.C., on January 23 and came away with wins over Queens and Coker.
- Lander first defeated Queens 29-18 while taking down Coker 27-15.
- Elijah Lusk, Randy Myers, Gage Bernall and Darius Parker all went 2-0 on the day.
- Lusk was named the SACC Wrestler of The Week. He won 17-1 for a tech fall against Queens while putting together a 10-4 win by decision against Coker.
- This will be the third time Lander and King have met for wrestling. The Bearcats are 2-0 in the previous meetings.
- The last meeting was last season at King. Lander won 27-18.
- After scoring the first nine points in the match, Lander was down 18-9 before holding King scoreless for the remainder of the match.
- Jack Bond put together a 25-10 tech fall against King last season while Parker earned a win by pinning his opponent.
- King is 5-5 on the season with a 2-1 record in the SACC.
- They hold wins over Emmanuel and then no. 22 Newberry.
- Lander hosts Limestone and Newberry in a tri-meet on February 3 for its next round of competitions.
