GREENWOOD, S.C. - The Lander fishing team is ranked 20th nationally in the Association of Collegiate Anglers (ACA) Bass Pro Shop School of the Year rankings. 

The standings rank all collegiate bass fishing programs nationwide regardless of affiliation. The Bearcats are the highest-ranked program in South Carolina, with the Clemson program sitting in 25th place.  

Lander had a strong fall, with a second-place finish as a team at the Palmetto Boat Center College Tournament. The program also had several different teams finish in the top-20 in tournaments.

Lander will compete January 21-22 at the Harris Chain of Lakes in Leesburg, Fla.
