GREENWOOD – The Lander men's soccer team will look to rebound after a late loss to Chowan in Florence, S.C., with a visit from Newberry on Wednesday.

STORYLINES
- Although scoring the first goal of the game against Chowan, the Bearcats conceded two late goals in the second half to fall 2-1 to the Hawks.
- Tom Marriott was recently named the PBC Player of The Week after scoring a hat trick in a 3-2 thriller against Francis Marion that required extra time.
- This will be the Bearcat's first home game of the season.
- Marriott leads the Bearcats in goals and points with three goals and six points. Max McNulty, who scored the lone goal against Chowan, is second on the team in goals and points.
- Newberry is coming off consecutive 3-1 losses. They began the season losing to USC Aiken at home before losing to Mount Olive on the road.

- TJ Paul and Moses Bakabulindi have been the goal scorers for the Wolves this season.
