GREENWOOD - The Lander men's soccer team heads back home to host Clayton State on Wednesday after losing to Young Harris 2-1 on the road.

STORYLINES
- The Bearcats are coming off a close 2-1 defeat to Young Harris this past Saturday.
- Carson Dinger got the scoring going in the 11th minute to give Lander an early 1-0 lead. The Mountain Lions would respond with two first-half goals in the 18th and 32nd minute of play to earn the 2-1 victory.
- Suffering their first conference loss of the season, the Bearcats sit in third behind Young Harris and Clayton State.
- Lander continues to lead the PBC in goals scored, now with 24 on the season.
- With an average of three goals per game, Lander has the seventh-ranked scoring offense in the country.
- Lander also leads the PBC in total assists with 25 while averaging 3.125 per game.
- Lander is currently fourth in the nation in assists per game.
- Tom Marriott still leads the Bearcats and PBC in goals scored with nine on the season. He's currently tied for the most in the nation as well.
- Marriott currently sits first in the PBC and second in the country in total points with 23.
- Max McNulty is one of three Bearcats in double-figures for points. He has seven goals and two assists for 16 points. McNulty is currently seventh in the nation in goals scored.
- Marco Gueli is the other Bearcat with 10 or more points as he has three goals and four assists so far this season.
- Kevin Rubaszewski and Marriott lead the team with five assists each. Rubaszewski has seven points with one goal to his name.
- The Bearcats will be looking for their 11th straight win over Clayton State.
- All-time against the Lakers, Lander is 23-9-3. At home, the Bearcats are 11-3-1.
