COLUMBUS, GA. - The Lander women's tennis team saw its winning streak halted by No. 13 Columbus State as the Cougars won 7-0 Saturday.
Lander drops to 8-6 overall and 3-2 in the PBC while Columbus State advances to 9-3 overall and 4-0 in the PBC.
The Bearcats had a chance to take the doubles point after the pairing of Lindsey Wiggins and Roberta Armani won at the No. 3 doubles 7-5, but the Cougars took the No. 1 and 3 spots by scores of 6-1 and 6-0.
Lander is home to host Georgia College for its next match on April 9.
