GREENWOOD – After finishing sixth at the Low Tide Invitational, the Lander women's golf team is set to take part in the Cougar Invitational in Columbus, Ga.

STORYLINES

• Lander finished sixth after shooting a team score of 947 (318+305+324).
• Junior Hannah Stephenson finished first among the Bearcats, tying for ninth after shooting nine-over-par for the tournament.
• This will be the third tournament of the spring season for the Bearcats.
• Stephenson is currently fourth in the PBC for stroke average with a 76.1. She has also shot two of the five lowest rounds among PBC golfers, shooting a 69 and 70 for the third and fourth lowest single-round scores of the season.
• So far this season, Lander has shot the third-lowest team score among all PBC schools with a 296. The Bearcats shot that at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial in the third round.
• After the Cougar Invitational, Lander will host the Bearcat Invitational starting on March 29.
