STORYLINES
- Lander and Walsh have met twice heading into Sunday's contests. The Bearcats lead the all-time series 2-0. The last time the two teams met was Mar. 1, 2020, when Lander won 5-3. In that game, Lander erased a 3-1 deficit with four runs over the final four innings.
- The Bearcats earned a pair of run-rule wins on Tuesday against Converse, beating the Valkyries 11-0 and 9-1. Rylee Omahen, Shelby Davies, and Haven Pesce all had two RBI on the day.
- Guerrero currently leads the Peach Belt Conference with 16 RBI and 19 hits.
- Bridgett Tierney's 10 stolen bases is also a PBC-high this season.
- The Bearcats tallied five doubles in their second win over Converse on Tuesday, the most in game since Lander hit five two-baggers in a 10-0 victory over USC Aiken on April 28, 2019.
