MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Lander women's soccer team took Georgia College to overtime for the fourth consecutive time in the series, but suffered a 1-0 setback on Wednesday night. 

Lander fired three shots to Georgia College's 26, while earning one corner kick. The Bobcats attempted four corner kicks on the night. 

Between the pipes,  Lander got 10 combined saves from Taylor Frew and Sarah Owen. 

Neither team could break through during regulation as Georgia College held the Bearcats to just one shot on goal. In the 107th minute, GC's Madison Britt found the back of the net to end the night and give the Bobcats a 1-0 victory.  

Lander returns to action on Sunday when the Bearcats travel to UNC Pembroke for a 2:00 p.m. match.
