STORYLINES

• Lander is currently 1-0 overall and in the SACC.
• The Bearcats last dual meet was against Mount Olive, who they defeated 35-9 at Horne Arena on Nov. 16.
• The Bearcats most recently competed at the Life University Open on Nov. 20.
• Seven wrestlers placed in the top three with Isham Peace, Hunter Jurgens and Gage Bernall finishing first in their respective brackets.
• Bernall was also named the SACC Wrester of The Week for the second time this season on November 22.
• In the most recent InterMat rankings, Lander saw five wrestlers nationally ranked.
• Ellijah Lusk, Zeth Brower, Darius Parker, Cameron Coffman and Bernall were all ranked nationally.
• This is the third meeting between these two schools since Lander introduced wrestling. The Bearcats are 2-0 and won 31-18 on January 27, 2021, at the King quad meet.
• The Lions are 0-2 this season, losing to King 25-15 and Limestone 39-7.
