GREENWOOD, S.C. - For the first time since 2013, Lander has advanced to the semifinals of the Peach Belt Women's Soccer Tournament. The second seed Bearcats take on third seed Flagler Friday at 8:00 PM in Evans, Ga.

Tickets for the event will be $10 each and can be purchased exclusively online HERE. Admission is free for students with a valid ID from a PBC school and children five and under. Tickets will not be sold at the venue and must be purchased ahead of time. Fans can have their tickets scanned from their phones or print out their tickets.

STORYLINES

• Last Saturday, Lander defeated the Pacers 1-0 in the quarterfinals to advance in the tournament. 
• The lone goal was scored by Annika Seifart on an assist from Mia Piazza in the 16th minute. The Bearcats outshot the Pacers 18-0 and recorded their eighth shutout of the season.   
• Maren White leads the Peach Belt in game-winning goals (4) and fifth in total goals (8). 
• Emma Sexton leads the PBC in shots on goal per game (2.54), second in shots per game (4.23), and third in shot accuracy (0.600).  
• Sarah Owen is third in the conference in goals-against average (1.01).  
• The Bearcats are currently third in the conference in total points (84), points per game (5.25), scoring average (1.88), shutout percentage (.500), total assists (24), and total goals (30).
• Earlier in the season, the Bearcats defeated then second-ranked Flagler 2-1 at Van Taylor Stadium.
• The Saints defeated Georgia College 3-2 last Saturday in the quarterfinals.
• The winner of today's match advances to the championship on Sunday at 3:00 PM against the winner of the Columbus State-North Georgia match.
