ST. AUGUSTINE, FLA. - In a match highlighted by freshman Polina Radchenko earning a gutsy win over a ranked opponent in a third-set tiebreak, the Lander women's tennis team fell to #12 Flagler 6-1 Sunday at the Flagler Tennis Center.

Flagler moves to 4-3 (1-0 PBC) while Lander falls to 5-3 (1-1 PBC)

Eduarda Ferreira and Polina Radchenko defeated Eden Schlagenhauf and Florencia Massardo 6-4. The Saints would eventually take the doubles point as Anika Nissen and Lixin Wang defeated Raquel Acco and Nelli Lius 6-1 at the No. 2 position while the No. 3 Paloma Martinez and Amelie Vossgaetter defeated Lindsey Wiggins and Kylee Ramsey 6-1.

Polina Radchenko picked up an impressive single win at the No. 3 position as she outlasted #28 Anika Nissen 1-6, 6-4, 10-4 (17-14).

The Bearcats travel to Orlando, Fla. to take on #24 Grand Valley State tomorrow.
