GREENWOOD - The Bearcats will play their third straight road game as they head back to Aiken for an afternoon contest on December 12 after previously defeating the Pacers 73-66 this past Wednesday.

STORYLINES
- After trailing by five at halftime, the Bearcats put together a strong second-half performance which saw them go 54.2 percent from the floor and hold Aiken to 26 points and 28.9 percent from the floor. Lander began the second frame of action on an 18-5 run within the first seven minutes which saw senior DaJuan Moorer scoring seven of those points and junior Jermaine Patterson adding five.
- Lander had three players reach double-figures in scoring, with Patterson leading the way with 21 points. Moorer put together an all-around performance that saw him put up 16 points. nine rebounds, six steals, four blocks and three assists. Senior Deon Berrien was the last Bearcat to hit double-figures with 13 points, six rebounds and three assists.
- The paint has been kind to the Bearcats, with over 30 points coming down low in both games and 48 against the Pacers. Lander is averaging 40 points in the paint through the first two games of the season.
- Lander also saw an increase in hitting its shots compared to how things faired against Augusta. The Bearcats shot 54.7 percent from the field compared to the 49.2 percent against the Jaguars.
- The Bearcats brought plenty of Windex last night, eating up 40 total rebounds against the Pacers. Aiken however was able to snag 19 offensive rebounds away from Lander in the last meeting.
- This will be the second of four meetings between the two schools and the last non-conference match. This is also the first time that Lander will play Aiken more than three times since making the move from NAIA to Div. II.
- Aiken was led by Jakobi Pearson's 19 points. He also contributed three assists and three rebounds. The Pacers had two other players hit double-figures, as they made 14 and 11 points.
