LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Lander women's tennis team fell to three-time defending NAIA national champion Georgia Gwinnett, 7-0, on Saturday afternoon.
Lander (3-7) fell in straight sets in all six singles spots as Georgia Gwinnett (6-0) ran its winning streak to 13 consecutive matches. Isabella Schulz won three games at the No. 2 spot for the Bearcats.
Lander returns to the Joe Cabri Tennis Center Tuesday to host Emmanuel at 2:00 p.m.
