GREENWOOD – The Lander women's tennis team suffered a 7-0 setback to No. 14-ranked North Georgia on Saturday afternoon at the Joe Cabri Tennis Center.
The Nighthawks (13-2, 3-0 PBC) swept the doubles matches and all six singles matches to claimed the 7-0 win over the Bearcats (5-12, 0-5 PBC). Manasi Ramadani forced a third set against her opponent at the No. 6 spot, claiming the opening set of her match, 7-5, before ultimately falling 10-3 in the third set tiebreaker.
Lander returns to action on Sunday as the Bearcats host Young Harris.
