GREENWOOD – The Lander women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Flagler on Saturday afternoon in a Peach Belt Conference contest at the Joe Cabri Tennis Center. 

Lander (4-9, 0-2 PBC) dropped the doubles point to the Saints (8-4, 3-0 PBC), earning its lone point of the afternoon at No. 1 singles behind Eduarda Ferreira's 2-6, 6-2, 10-5 comeback win. Ferreira and Isabella Schulz also collected a 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles after Flagler had won the first two doubles flights of the day. 

The Bearcats travel to rival Erskine Wednesday for a 3:00 p.m. match.
