TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The No. 2-ranked Lander men's tennis team continued its winning ways on Tuesday afternoon as the Bearcats rolled over North Greenville, 9-0, in a non-conference match.
Lander (16-2) earned its fourth shutout of the season while halting North Greenville's (6-9) four-match winning streak.
The Bearcats swept doubles play for the fourth straight outing as Ozan Cildir and Gabriel Balestero earned an 8-7 win at No. 3 to cap doubles action. Lander followed with six wins in singles play, highlighted by a 6-0, 6-0 effort from Alexander Regner at No. 3.
Lander will look to continue its streak on Thursday as the Bearcats host Salem International at 2:30 p.m.
