GREENWOOD – The No. 4-ranked and second-seeded Lander men's tennis team (20-3) begins the NCAA Southeast Regional with an opening round matchup against No. 22-ranked and seventh-seeded Georgia College (11-10) on Monday afternoon at 2:30 p.m., at the Joe Cabri Tennis Center.

STORYLINES
• Lander is making its 25th apperance in the NCAA Tournament. The Bearcats are 54-17 overall in the NCAA Tournament and are making their 13th consecutive appearance. Since joining the NCAA Division II ranks in 1992-93, the Bearcats have missed the NCAA Tournament just once.
• The Bearcats and Bobcats have met three times in the NCAA Tournament. Lander owns a 3-0 record against Georgia College in NCAA Tournament play, with their last meeting coming in 2015.
• Lander defeated Georgia College 6-3 during the regular season.
• The Bearcats are 23-1 all-time in NCAA Tournament openers.
• A win over the Bobcats will give Lander its first 21-win season since 1999 and just its third in program history.
• Senior David Korsten and juniors Ozan Cildir, Eirik Groner and Alexander Regner were named to the All-Peach Belt team, giving Lander four All-PBC selections for the second consecutive season.
• Groner is ranked No. 38 in the latest Oracle/ITA Division II men's national singles rankings, while Korsten and Regner rank No. 16 in the national doubles rankings.
