GREENWOOD – The Lander women's tennis team swept all six singles points as the Bearcats defeated Georgia Southwestern 8-1 on Saturday afternoon at the Joe Cabri Tennis Center.
Lander (4-3, 1-1 PBC) dropped just eight games in singles play, led by a 6-0, 6-0 win from Isabella Schulz at the No. 4 spot. The Bearcats also claimed two of three doubles points, highlighted by an 8-0 win from Eduarda Ferreira and Lucia Ric at No. 2.
The Bearcats return to action on March 2 on the road at Francis Marion.
