GREENWOOD - The No. 5-ranked Lander men's tennis team recorded its seventh shutout of the season Saturday afternoon when the Bearcats blanked No. 22 North Georgia, 9-0, in a Peach Belt Conference match at The Joe Cabri Tennis Center.
Lander improves to 13-2 overall and 8-1 in the PBC, while North Georgia drops to 10-6, 2-5.

Alexander Reinauer (NG) 2-6, 6-2, 6-2; No. 4 Ozan Cildir (L) def. Hugues Renald (NG) 6-4, 2-6, 10-7; No. 5 David Korsten (L) def. Lukas Moritzen (NG) 4-6, 6-0, 6-3; and No. 6 Alexandre Springer (L) def. Joe Klokow (NG) 6-4, 6-1.
In doubles, No. 1 Loic Minery/Marc Hofer (L) def. Philipp Mueller/Niklas Zielen (NG) 8-6; No. 2 Chris Devoize/David Korsten (L) def. Alexander Reinauer/Joe Klokow (NG) 8-5; and No. 3 Ozan Cildir/Charles Baron (L) def. Lukas Moritzen/Hugues Renald (NG) 8-6.
Lander will host PBC foe Young Harris at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, April 3, in their final home match of the season.
