GREENWOOD - The Lander women's tennis team recorded its first shut out of the season Sunday afternoon as the Lady Bearcats blanked Georgia Southwestern, 9-0, in a Peach Belt Conference match at The Joe Cabri Tennis Center.
Lander, which improves to 3-2 overall and 1-2 in the PBC, will next host Limestone College at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 24. The Hurricanes drop to 3-5, 0-2.
