Box Score AIKEN, S.C. – The sixth-seeded Lander volleyball team travels to USC Aiken looking to make a run in the NCAA Southeast Regional beginning with an opening round matchup against third-seeded Flagler on Friday afternoon at 12:00 p.m., at the Convocation Center.

STORYLINES
• Lander (21-11) is making its third apperance in the NCAA Tournament. The Bearcat are 1-2 overall in the NCAA Tournament and are back in the Southeast Regional for the second consecutive season. Lander earned its first-ever trip to the NCAA Tournament in 2008.
• Lander and Flagler have never met in the NCAA Tournament. The Saints, who won the Peach Belt Conference Tournament, topped the Bearcats twice in the regular season.
• The Bearcats earned the first NCAA Tournament win in program history last season, upsetting third-seeded Wingate before falling to Lenoir-Rhyne. The victory over Wingate set the school record for wins in a single season (25).
• Lander has won 20 games in a season for just the sixth time in program history. The Bearcats have recorded three consecutive 20+ win seasons for only the second time ever.
• Senior Halle Dotson was selected to the D2CCA All-Southeast Region second team this week. The outside hitter from Titusville, Fla., leads the Peach Belt Conference in total attacks (1,218), while ranking second in kills (421), third in kills per set (3.60) and points (467.0), fourth in block assists (86) and fifth in points per set (4.0)
• The Peach Belt Conference has put four teams in the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive season. Lander, Flagler, Armstrong State and USC Aiken are all returning to the tournament after advancing to the postseason last year.
• Lander holds the distinction of being the last PBC team to win an NCAA Tournament match. The Bearcats upset Wingate in the first round of last year's tournament, while Flagler, Armstrong State and USC Aiken all fell.
